Information Officer/Webmaster - Roles & Responsibilities

The Information Officer is a voting member of the Lincoln Glen Little League and is expected to attend a majority of the board meetings.

Information Officer Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Manage the online registration process and ensure that league rosters are maintained on the League’s website.

2. Assign administrative rights to league volunteers and teams.

3. Serve as primary contact person for Little League and SportsConnect regarding optimizing use of the Internet for league administration and for distributing information to league members and to Little League International.

Time Commitment:

1. 10 monthly board meetings of approximately 2 hours per meeting.

2. Other activities approximately 10 to 20 hours per year.

Webmaster Duties/Responsibilities:

The Webmaster shall:

1. Manage content and overall user experience of the league’s website pages and information.

2. Update website content (news, advertising, scheduling) based on requests from other Board members.

3. Content updates should be completed within 24 hours of an approved request.

Time Commitment:

1. 10 monthly board meetings of approximately 2 hours per meeting.

1. Skills required:

i. basic HTML

ii. familiarity with database management and CMS
