The Events Director is a voting member of the Lincoln Glen Little League and is expected to attend a majority of the board meetings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Events Director shall: Lead the planning, execution and feedback collection of the following key league events:
1. Annual Coach Tournament, .
2. Annual League Fundraiser (silent auction)
3. At least 3 local dinner nights and one key external event (typically San Jose Giants game)
4. Support location sourcing for the annual Evaluation Day
2. The Events Director shall work with the Volunteer Officer on sourcing support for the events and the Team Parent director for helping distribute communications on the status of the events.
3. The Events Directors shall encourage community members to support the events and may recruit up to 3 volunteers to fulfill their requirements via Events as long as they commit to at least 10 hours of volunteer time
4. Support the league in general comms materials for the events.
5. Should LGLL be selected to host a TOC or All-Star tournament event, work with the Volunteer Officer and President to recruit a Tournament Director and ensure sufficient staffing for all key events.
6. Partner with the Schedule Director and President to create and maintain a league calendar of events, which will be publicized via the Info Officer and Team Parent Director.
Time Commitment:
1. 10 monthly board meetings of approximately 2 hours per meeting.
