The Volunteer Officer is a voting member of the Lincoln Glen Little League and is expected to attend a majority of the board meetings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Volunteer Officer shall:
1. Propose all official volunteer roles to the Board of Directors by the November Board Meeting.
2. Develop and manage the system to ensure volunteer compliance; for any exceptions work with the Treasurer to ensure non-compliant league members supply their opt-out fees.
3. Work with the President, Team Parent Director, Division VPs and Safety Officer on ensuring all on-field volunteers complete their certification requirements prior to the start of practice. This includes the completion of background checks.
4. Provide a mid-season status update of volunteer compliance to the Board of Directors.
5. Continually monitor volunteer needs for special events and ensure that the leagues volunteer policy is appropriate. .
Time Commitment:
1. 10 monthly board meetings of approximately 2 hours per meeting.
