Sponsors/Fence/Ads - Roles & Responsibilities

The Sponsor position is a voting member of the Lincoln Glen Little League Board of Directors and is expected to attend a majority of the board meetings. He/she manages all aspects of coordination with sponsors and with the printing of the annual program. He/she works with other board members as needed to support different areas of the league.


1. December

a. Contact all sponsors for team sponsorship, fence banners and program ads.

b. Forward all sponsorships checks to the Treasurer as received.

2. January

a. Finalize all sponsors, coordinate any art that needs to be provided (for fence banners or program) and finalize collection of sponsor fees.

b. Coordinate sponsors linked to certain teams, for example, a team sponsor may wish to sponsor their child’s team. We make every effort to accommodate
this request.

3. February

a. Provide sponsor names to VP’s for team names and to VP of Operations for scheduling.

b. Receive rosters from VP’s for program printing.

c. Coordinate program printing.

d. Provide all information to Able Printing for program printing, need by Opening Day.

e. Review all banners from prior season to see if they can be used again. Have any necessary banners made.

4. March – order trophies for T-Ball and Championship trophies for League divisions.

5. May – coordinate the printing of the Farm Futures game program.

6. July – distribute team plaques to team sponsors.

Time Commitment:

1. 10 monthly board meetings of approximately 2 hours per meeting.

2. December through July activities will require approximately 6 to 10 hours per month.
