The VP of T Ball position is a voting member of the Lincoln Glen LL and is expected to attend a majority of the board meetings. He/she manages all aspects of the preseason and regular season interactions with managers and coaches. He/she works with other board members as needed to support different areas of the league. As VP of T-Ball you may manage, coach or umpire provided they do not have conflicting interests.

Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Conduct the formation of teams if applicable with the assistance of the Vice President.

2. Be in charge of coordinating managers and coaches for each team. Work with the Coach Coordinator to evaluate all coaching candidates.

3. Works with the Volunteer Officer to ensure that a background check is completed for each manager and coach.

4. Coaching Standardization: Encourage managers and coaches to attend organized coaching clinics.

5. Review schedule with the Schedule Director

6. If needed develop and publish a practice schedule.

7. Keep up with player-related issues including roster changes, vacancies, long-term injuries, etc. and communicate immediately to Player Agent.

8. Observe the conduct of Managers/Coaches during practices and games throughout the season.

9. Investigate all complaints and concerns of play, in your division. You have the authority to settle disputes, but may request assistance from Player Agent, Chief Umpire or President.

11. Vote on matters before the Board of Directors.

12. Solicit End of Year feedback from Manager/Coaches for what can be improved .

13  Support Farm division needs for the Fall Ball Program in line with the responsibilities above

Time commitment:

1. Approximately 30 hours, including 10 monthly board meetings of about 2 hours each.
